How to activate your eSIM before travel

Activating your TravelNet eSIM is quick and done directly from your phone settings. In most cases the plan starts as soon as the eSIM connects to a local network on arrival. Here are the 5 steps to get connected stress-free.

   Wait until arrival or activate 24h before

   Most plans start when the eSIM connects to a local network. Activate on arrival, or up to 24h before if your plan allows a fixed start date.

   Go to Settings > Mobile Data

   Open your phone settings and find the Mobile Data / Cellular menu where your eSIM lines are listed.

   Select your TravelNet eSIM

   Tap the TravelNet line you labeled during installation.

   Enable "Turn On This Line"

   Switch on "Turn On This Line" (iPhone) or set the eSIM as active (Android).

   Enable data roaming

   Turn on data roaming for the TravelNet line — this is required for the plan to connect abroad.
